Did you know that June is National Safety Month in the U.S?
The National Safety Council explains that “National Safety Month focuses on reducing leading causes of injury and death at work, on the road and in our homes and communities.”
Each week in June, the National Safety Council releases new, downloadable resources. The topics being highlighted this year are ” Hazard Recognition, Slips, Trips and Falls, Fatigue and Impairment”.
Although these resources are written in the U.S, prevention techniques are applicable everywhere. You can never do too much research into safety and avoiding accidents. These materials can also make perfect handouts for morning safety meetings, or can be hung up and serve as a constant reminder about the importance of work place safety.
Check out the National Safety Council’s website to learn more and get access to all the amazing free resources and materials.
